Can snazzy get my Instagram account banned?
Nothing snazzy does is against Instagram's rules, because snazzy can only do what Meta's official API permits. We post through the Instagram Graph API using a token you granted us, with the exact permissions you approved on Meta's own consent screen. There is no automation of the Instagram app, no logging in as you, no scraping, and no unofficial endpoints — the techniques that actually get accounts restricted.
What does “Meta Tech Provider” mean?
It is a status Meta grants after reviewing a company that builds software for other businesses. We passed Access Verification as a Tech Provider, and Meta separately verified the business behind snazzy — ASHLYTIC LABS LLP, a registered Indian limited liability partnership. Both were prerequisites before Meta would grant us the permissions below.
Which permissions does snazzy actually hold?
All five: publishing, profile, insights, messaging and comments are at Advanced access, granted by Meta App Review — the first three in August 2026 and messaging and comments in September 2026. Advanced access is not something an app can switch on for itself: Meta reviews a recorded walkthrough of the real product and either grants it or does not.
What can snazzy see?
Only what you granted: your professional account's profile and media, the ability to publish posts you schedule, and insights on those posts. We cannot read your personal messages, your followers' data, or anything on a Facebook account. Your access token is encrypted at rest with AES-GCM and is never shown in the dashboard or sent to a browser.
How do I revoke it?
Instantly, from Instagram itself — Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites — without asking us. Disconnecting an account inside snazzy deletes the stored token, and deleting your account removes the rest. You do not need our cooperation to cut us off, which is the point.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. snazzy is paid for by subscriptions, not by advertising or data. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the infrastructure needed to run the product.
Why this page exists
A lot of Instagram “growth” and DM tools work by driving the Instagram app or website as if they were you. Those tools do get accounts restricted, and it is reasonable to assume every tool works that way. snazzy does not, and the difference is checkable: Meta grants Advanced access only after reviewing the working product, and you can see exactly which permissions you gave us on Instagram’s own Apps and Websites screen.
